[Newbie]Problems with startx in Redhat 7.1

Hello. I have just installed Redhat 7.1. When I boot up, despite having set the "graphical" display option during installation, it boots into text mode. The display flashes periodically and I can only type commands when the display is not flashing. When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send the full server output, not just the last messages. This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log". Please report problems to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I don't know if it matters or not but during installation my Sony HMD-A200 monitor was not available on the list of monitors so I had to select the "unprobed monitor" option. Despite this the graphical display functioned correctly when I tried a preview during installation. That's why it seems so strange that it then doesn't work when the system is booted.  My graphics card is an ATI RAGE 128 GL AGP. Thanks, JON.
