I am interested in your problem: I have the same card
in a laptop. It does work with 4.0.3 (I use the vesa
driver) but it is slow. I am in the process of
upgrading to 4.1.0 because someone assured me the card
was supported in 4.1.0!!! I seems it may well not be
from what you claim.
I did not find 3.3.6 to be any better than 4.0.3 with
vesa. It may have to do with my distribution (RH 7.1)
it installs both 3.3.6 and 4.0.3 and sets one of them
active depending on what it thinks is better (it did
set 3.3.6 active with the card but there were a couple
of glitches which I attributed to the modules being
compiled for 4.0.3 that's why I switched to 4.0.3 and
vesa)...
Let me know if you get more info...
Thanks
Lionel
