Hi Folks,
I've tried X version 4.0.3 and 4.1.0 and nothing seems to work. I
installed Linux on the laptop (Slackware 8.0 and Mandrake 8.0) and X
worked using the framebuffer not the geforce driver. Has anyone heard of
this issue before or know of a way to solve this problem? I took some
pictures of the result of attempting to start X on this machine and a
small video in mpeg format. I've installed from ports and when that
didn't work, as per a friend's advice, I compiled from source and still
had the same error. If anyone has any input on this that'd be great.
