I am compiling 4.1.0 from source on linux. The first is already installed and I am planning a second round. I understood the docs that I can omit building all the docs and fonts to make it a bit faster (takes about 8 hours here).
Question: Would I better leave the whole previous installed and just use install to overwrite the old ones? Or would I better get the old out of the way, have the new one freshly installed and then move the docs and fonts over to the place they belonged? I assume something like 'ifdef define NO' in host.def would do for building.
