My linux box is Celeron 450(4.5x100) + SiS6326 with Mandrake 8.1. As the X start, xv extension is load. But with xvinfo,it shows "no adaptor present". I refer to documentation in XFree86 and it said that xv can only find adaptor after DDX layer has been initiated. Anyone has XVideo been usable and know how to do? Or please let me know how to initiate DDX layer? Please give me some opions! Thanks a lots!
