I konw this is a mailing group for X. But im having a real hard time
getting wine to run on my debian 2.4.4 box. I did a apt-get install wine
and i get errors
libwine: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.4-2) but 2.1.3-18 is to be installed
Depends: libfreetype6 but it is not installable
Depends: libncurses5 (>= 5.2.20010310-1) but 5.0-6.0potato1 is
to be installed
Depends: xlibs (> 4.1.0) but it is not installable
wine: Depends: libwine (= 1:0.20011021.033958) but 1:0.20011020.034003
is to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or
specify a solution).
i did apt-get -f install and that was no help.
any suggestions?
