Hello,
I am running Xfree86 4.0.3 on a Sun SparcStation 20 (OpenBSD 2.9).
Using a TurboGX card gives me the theoretical max resolution,
1152x900x8bpp. Then I took out the TurboGX and put in a SX
VSIMM card, and switched to the Xsun24 server. Under Solaris and
Suns Xserver I get 1280x1024x32bpp (card has 8mb), but under
Xfree I get 1280x1024x8bpp. I know the man page does not say
this card is supported at all, but I was wandering if there was
some way..... The Xsun24 server say screen#0 support 24bpp,
but the root window only has 8.....
Is there any hope, or.....?
Regards, Tom
