[Newbie]Status of Trident Cyberblade ???

Hi,

I've recently bought a TOSHIBA Satellite 1800-400

which is based on a Ali Aladdin i1 Chipset,

including a Trident Cyberblade graphic card.

To start an X server, I've installed 2.4.9 kernel

with dri support and XFree 4.1.0.

Unfortunately, the "Direct rendering" does not work

and there's no 3D acceleration

( this works fine on Windows ),

so, did I forget something ???

Is it supported at all ??
