Hello, all; I have a Toshiba Satellite 1800-S253 (laptop) with Red hat 7.1 installed, including Xfree86 4.0.3. Everything works pretty well, but the focus of my pointer is about 1 cm to left the of the tip of where it's drawn onscreen. That is, if I want to click on something, I have to position the tip of the mouse a little to the right of the widget that I'm aiming for. (This is especially annoying when working with text.) This happens whether I'm logged in as root or as another user. Is this likely an X issue or a Linux issue? (I'm a Solaris and BSD guy, mostly, and that's why I need help focusing my search.) I can supply configuration info if it would help. Thanks in advance for any suggestions about how to track this down.
