Might wanna go with 2 MGAs instead, unless you want OpenGL issues (the
GeForce2 MX only has dualhead support with the nVidia binary drivers, which
stomp on DRI, meaning that the G450 and Radeon VE won't do HW-accelerated
GL.) However, I see no reason why multiple g450's wouldn't work.

Subject: [Newbie]Multiple displays

How much experience does everyone have with multiple displays in
XFree86? I currently have two running okay (leadtek winfast s320ii agp
tnt2 and diamond monster fusion 3dfx banshee) under slackware 8.0 (2.4.5
kernel, 4.1.0 xfree86). I also previously had a matrox g400 running
dual display under xfree86 4.0.3 at work (mandrake 7.2, but I upgraded
x). I haven't bothered getting it to run dual head again yet under
slackware 8.0 because I haven't had the time. What I was wondering is
if anyone has had any experience with more than 2 display, especially
involving multiple dual head cards. I'm half tempted to try to get a
matrox g450 pci, geforce2 mx pci, and radeon ve agp card and try having
7 displays (with my banshee as well). I know the maxtrox card will run
dual head. I've read about several success stories involving it. I've
also read recently about the geforce2 mx successfully being run dual
head. I still haven't heard anything positive about the radeon ve
running dual head in XFree86, but I'm sure that someone is working on
it. Anyway, late.

                Lee
