Hi I'm running FreeBSD 4.4 release with it's included version of XFree86 (3.3.6).
I run XF86Setup and the mouse is working perfectly: Section Pointer Protocol "SysMouse" Device "/dev/mouse" /dev/mouse is static linked to /dev/sysmouse... When the first part of XF86Setup exits, and the server starts, there is no mouse pointer on the screen i the server portion. But I can move the mouse around to highlight and click the "save config and exit" option out of the three (there is no pointer showing on the screen, but by moving the mouse up and down the highlighting on the different buttons changes). When I get back to text mode, and type "startx", the window mananger comes up (windowmaker), but again no mouse pointer at all... Anyone out there with some wisdom that I am clearly missing?
