I'm running Debian woody with xfree86 4.1.0 and KDE 2.2.1 from Sid. I did an apt-get upgrade yesterday which upgraded my xfree86 from 4.1.0-7 to 4.1.0-9 (debian package release numbers) Now, I'm able to launch kdm and get to the login screen, but after I've entered my username/password and hit "OK", I get the following error:
Startup program /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/kdm/Xstartup exited with a non-zero status. Please contact your system administrator. Can anyone offer some suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem?
