I can't seem to get X configured on my FreeBSD 4.4 machine. I had 4.0.x
working and was pleased with the better color, but since I upgraded to
4.1.0 I haven't been able to get it to work. When I move the mouse cursor
it "paints" the command line and the borders of the xterm window. The
display isn't completely unreadable, but I haven't been able to use X
because of the problems. I've tried running xf86cfg, but the display is
unreadable and the program doesn't respond to the mouse clicks, maybe
because X is reading the cursor location as somewhere different from what I
see. I've just about decided to go back to XF86 3.x, but figured I would
check here to see if anyone could suggest a solution. My XF86Config,
produced by XFree86 -configure, is:
