Hi Lionel, I've installed 4.1.0, but for some reason RH defaulted to 3.3.6 for this card. Last night, I changed to the XFree86 server, using the trident driver. It seems to be working, although I haven't used it enough to say if I will have the problem with the pointer. I can't figure out the RH system. X is softlinked to Xwrapper, which is a binary that somehow loads the SVGA server. I ended up pointing X to XFree86 by hand.
Thanks for your help Todd > RH 7.x decides on the basis of your graphic card whether to activate 3.3.6 or 4.x.x. > run X -version to find out. > I suspect you are running 3.3.6 > cheers > Lionel > --- Todd Chisholm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi All, > > > > Is anyone having/had trouble with their pointer suddenly warping to the > > top right corner of their screen?
