[Newbie]Problem connecting to Xserver

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has seen this problem and has some insite into what can be done to solve it.    I'm trying to connect to my X-server using Hummingbird's Exceed 7.0.  I'm executing a rexec command on my Linux box.  When I try to do this I get a window popping up saying:  "Where are you?".  I click "Ok" and get prompted for my password (this might be an Exceed responce).  I type in the correct password and the connection gets closed.    I'm sending this over an internal LAN.  I have verified that the rexec daemon is running.  I'm not sure if I have missed some configuration here but any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you all for taking the time to read this.   Chris Singer.
