Hi folks...
This one is not a biggy (I think)... so I hope someone can give me a
hand.
I recently managed to download the entire Xfree86 4.2.0 source
tree... I wanted to test an MPEG decoder with 810 HWMC on it and I thats why
i needed the 4.2.0.
After successfully compiling and installing it, startx does not want
to work. However when I change to runlevel 5, the login manager starts and
everything goes perfectly well. But back in runlevel 3, I still cant seem to
startx. The error given was something like ---> xauth: not able to load
libXmuu.so.1.
I searched libXmuu.so.1 and found it in /usr/X11R/lib - I tried
adding that path into my .bash_profile, but it still does not work.
anyone has any ideas??,
