Are you using XFree86 4.0.0, or a later version? If it's any version before 4.1.0, I strongly recommend upgrading (especially if you're using an ATi or nVidia graphics card, due to numerous bugfixes and performance enhancements). If it's 4.1.0, I'll look into it, but since I don't have a Graphire myself, it'll take some time and energy (and maybe getting one...)
