I am using X 4.0.3 (in Red Hat 7.1) but with the Framebuffer device, which signs on
with:
XFree86 Version 3.3.6a Release Date: February 17 2001
It seems that XFree86 is ignoring my XF86Config-4 file and only reading XF86Config
(both in /etc/X11/).
I am logged in as root, but there are no XF* files in /root, and $XF86CONFIG is null.
I badly need XF86Config-4 to work. Help?!
