SV: [Newbie]Cant boot in graphics mode using 4.1.0 on an iMac

i gorgot to tell that i can start in text mode and run startx just fine, so the graphics works fine

I have a iMac rev. A running YellowdogLinux 2.0 (a rh based distro) kernel is 2.4.12 and xfree86 4.1.0, whenever i set the system to boot in graphics mode the system just blinks when starting graphics and blinks and blinks. Like if graphics is initiated wrong.

What do i do to fix it?
