Hi,
since I updated from XFree86 3.3.6 to 4.1.0 my monitor doesn't switch
off anymore.
My /etc/X11/XF86Config contains:
Option "BlankTime" "1" #"10"
Option "StandbyTime" "2" #"16"
Option "SuspendTime" "3" #"18"
Option "OffTime" "4" #"20"
After one minute of inactivity the screen blanks. But that's all. It
doesn't switch off. 'xset dpms force off' also only blanks the screen.
Here are some excerpts of my /var/log/XFree86.1.log:

The monitor is a Eizo F56, DPMS is switched on. In the BIOS (ASUS
T2P4) DPMS is switched on, too ("Suspend,Standby -> Off").
I'm running Linux kernel 2.4.10.
Who can help me to make the monitor switch of?
