If I were going to give in to temptation I'd just switch back to win 9x! Can't learn anything that way, however.
For the foreseeable future I will just have to remain content to fumble around in the darkness of my total ignorance until I can begin to fashion some sort of pattern out of all this, and hope I still have some hair left in the end.
