This is a comment on my earlier email on this problem. I have since discovered that you can go to the Xdarwin Preferences and open a screen to change the keymap. My problem is that the "Delete" key on the Apple Pro keyboard does not backspace-erase. There is, therefore, a Catch-22. To edit that screen to select a new keymap, I have to delete what is there. As far as I can tell, there is no way to delete the keymap from USA.keymapping on that screen. So, where is the file that contains that preference choice?
