Hi guys and girls :-)
I am trying to install X116.6 and XFree86 4.1.0 and after a successful build of both
of them I do the next thing, the make install command.
But while while running the make install I receive the following errors:
function '_FSWaitForWritable"
FSConnServ.c:165:Structure has no member named 'fds_bits'
make[3]:***[FSConnServ.o]Error1
I get the same thing down further in the install.log
also I get:
xkbscan.c:38:intializer element is not constant
make[3]:***[xkbscan.o]Error1
when I turn on my box, I get some output like:
Font Server [FAILED]
Linux Hooks [AILED] //then something about
// /usr.config, but the
// screen disapears too fast.
Linux will only run in single user mode <run level 1>
fine, if I try to use <run level 5 - X11> that is when I get the problems.
I think that X11 and/or XFree86 4.1 is not installed properly or at all, can anyone
help me????????? :-<
