I installed RedHat 6.2 on My Windows98 Pentium 800Mhz desktop.
(dual boot), the installation was from a CD and was mostly automatic.
I have a KDS VS7i monitor but the installation found some other KDS model
KDS 1745.
I had a problem with frequency out of range and I fixed the value using
xf86config
Now I get the blue blank screen after startx and I have to reset the
computer. I do not find any log file /var/log/.... so I have no idea
what's wrong.
I also have a curious problem with the default lilo boot.
I chose dos (that is Win98) but it keeps booting linux by default.
Why is that?
