I'm looking at building a dedicated Audio Video PC for my front room running Linux.
Now, having read and researched for a bit I've decided I'd like to make my next graphics card purchase an ATI one to thank them for their efforts in the arena of open source... Now the most value for money ATI option (you may read that as the cheapest) that appears to have a TV out (at least I *think* it does) is this: Radeon VE (RV100) 64MB AGP RP 39.95 http://www.ati.com/uk/pages/products/pc/radeon_ve/index.html I believe that is the card, from the UK section of the ATI site, but I can't confirm that the TV-out works under Linux. Anyone out there able to shed any light on this? (PS its even cheaper than the closest GeForce 2 MX that has a TV-out ;o) > -- > > Cheers, > Dave Russell > The three Rs of Microsoft support: Retry, Reboot, Reinstall.
