Hi All:
Please find below a copy of my XF86Config-4 file. I have two
identical ATi Rage 128 cards, but one is AGP and the other is PCI. I was
unable to generate a configuration file with the PCI card so I'm not sure
of the settings for that card. Note, I've commented out the AGP option on
the PCI card because I didn't know what else to do with it. There was no
coverage in the man XF86Config file for this option.
What's happening? Well, the system starts OK, gets to the point
where it turns on the PCI monitor and then everything locks up supremely.
At one point it even locked up the KVM switch, and that's bloody hard to do.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
