[Newbie]backingstore

What happened to backingstore under XF86 4.1.0? I recently upgraded to RedHat 7.2 and backingstore does not work anymore. I added the line   Option "backingstore"    below each   Section "Screen"    line in both the XF86Configure and XF86Configure-4 with no success. If that option is now obsolete, what took its place to supply the same functionality?   Thanks,   Pedro
