Hi,
I am trying to setup Solaris 8 on a Dell Notebook of Latitude C500, with ATI Rage Mobilit 3. XFree86 just does not like thios for some reason. I have run the sh xinstall.sh and also the configuration commands, but still when I start the XFree86 I get a full screen (that's good) background of the X but it gets stuck there. I have to hard boot the notebook. Anyone had any trouble like this ? Is there a "more friendly" manual instructions ?
