        Check out this page to get the modeline that you want for your 
monitor.

        koala.ilog.fr/cgi-bin/nph-colas-modelines

        In your monitor section, add a Modeline.  Check the man for XF86Config 
to see the format.  If you get stuck, I'll send you mine as a sample.
