what I meant was; if you have a question about X; go to google and do your search there. if you want to limit it to the archives; just put 'xfree86.org' in as one of your search terms. (actually, I'm sure there's a way to explicitly specify which URLs to allow, but I don't remember it). so if I had a question about SUIDing the XFree86 binary, vs. using Xwrapper, I'd go to www.google.com and put: xfree86.org Xwrapper SUID /usr/X11R6/bin/XFree86 in the search field. mind you; this will only get some results. there are a lot of other ways to state the same thing, and you need to try all of them (ideally). but that's a topic for another day. this way; you end up with more than just our mailing list, in your results. (there may be a much better answer on someone else's list). Indeed, one of Google's revenue models is in providing search services for people's websites.
