Hi,

I'm definitely a newbie when it comes to configuring XFree86. I
want to have a separate display (different desktops, resolutions, etc.)
on each of the dual-heads of my Radeon VE QY (AGP). I don't need DRI.
I've spent a lot of time trying different things in
/etc/X11/XF86Config but without success. I'd greatly appreciate it
if someone could send me an XF86Config that I could use to get
dual-headed up and running like this.

I've got the latest CVS version of XFree86 (4.1.99.5) and a reasonably
up-to-date kernel (2.4.13-ac7) with agpgart and drm (radeon) as
modules. Everything seems to work fine with a single server on one of
the heads. In case it's relevant, my Radeon VE has a single
fancy-looking output port. A connector attaches to this and from it
comes a pair of cables, each with VGA connectors at the end to which
CRT monitors are attached.

Many thanks,
Fergal.
