Hi everybody,
I've got a HP XE 3 Notebook with a 15'' LCD and a Intel 850 graphiccard I've got tried to set up an xserver with xfree86 4.1.0 both in Suse Linux 7.0 and Redhat 7.2 but it doesn't work, the only mode I got working is with the svga server at 256 colors and 320x200 But the strange thing is, that with both
distributions the graphic install modus works perfectly, are there some standard
settings that should work and have at least a resolution of
640x480?
I tried the command XFree86 -configure And the
Error is:
Fatal server error:
XFree86 has found a valid card
configuration
Unfortunately the appropriate data has not been
added to xf86PciInfo.h
