I've downloaded and compiled XFree86 4.2.0 (up from 4.1.0) and noticed
that the animations in enlightenment leave "remnants". For example,
when miniminzing a window to the Iconbox, there are black and white
streaks from the border of the rectangular outline of the window as it's
being minimized/animated to the iconbox. The streaks go away if I move
another window over them, or if I change desktops.
I did not have this problem in X 4.1.0. I tried recompiling
enlightenment, no dice. The problem does not occur if I disable the
animations.. but I want the animations ;)
My graphics card is an ATI Radeon 64mb DDR vi/vo (I think it's a Radeon
QD chip, at least that's what I see in XFree86.0.log.) I'm running
Linux kernel 2.4.17, FB is not enabled. If more info is req'd, let me know.
Thanks,
