I've installed XFree86 version 4.1.0 (from source) on my system. If I'm playing a game like parsec_lan or tuxracer, the game works for about 10 - 15 minutes and after that time my pc crashes. On the screen is one picture of the game - doesn't move anymore. Can't move the mouse. Neither Ctrl+Alt+Backspace nor Ctrl+Alt+F1 nor Ctrl+Alt+Enf do anything. Even if I let some time ago, the screen is still frozen. I thought, that the problem is the card. Perhaps the heat gets too hot and so it crashes. Has anybody had this problems with a ATI Rage 128 RL, too? Thanks in advance -- Daniel BTW: Don't that the config files are of interest to you.
