Hi,
I've just downloaded ATI-4.1.0.i386.tar.gz from
http://www.it.linuxvideo.org/gatos/.
Here is my first question: how can I determine if I have XFree 4.1.0 or
4.0.x (I use RedHat 7.2 kernel 2.4.7-10)? What is XFree 4.x.x?
Second: assume I have XFree 4.0.x and I want to upgrade to XFree 4.1.0,
where can I download XFree 4.1.0 and How can I install it?
Third: consider me a stupid newbie and, please, tell me very clearly
step-by-step how to Install ATI-4.x.x.i386.tar.gz.
Fourth: Have I to compile Kernel? If yes, how?
Have piety for me!!!
Thank you.
Regards,
Ugy
