Well it seemed to fix mine anyway.  I've had no problems since

I just left them were they were and renamed them with a .bak extension.
/etc/X11 became /etc/X11.bak

Let me know if you get dri working.  I still can't seem to get it to
work.  I think it has something to do with the kernel module though
