I realise this is the easiest way, but just going with the default and buildin a whole heap of stuff I don't need is hardly the most elegant solution. I'd much rather take a little extra time to get the XF86 install I want, rather than install lots of extra components I don't need and leave out some that I do. (The time doesn't really matter anyway since I'm waitng on some replacement parts for my computer, so I can't use it for I want to at least until those arive anyway, so I might as well make the most of the time waiting) > I don't think you've provided enough information to track down what is > causing the build error. Please tell me what information I do need to supply and I will. My intentions are to install xfree to support a Radeon All-in-Wonder 128 card (using the GATOS drivers) and displaying only on TV-out. I will be using it to play DVD's and other video streams as well as some 3D games that will require openGL. I would greatly appreciate any information on how to compile and install X to do this (and only this). -- Chris Jensen [EMAIL PROTECTED] Public Key: http://drspirograph.com/public_key/ Wait: Did you know that there's a direct correlation between the decline of Spirograph and the rise in gang activity?
