Hello,
I have Red Hat Version 7.2 (Kernel 2.4.7) and
I have compiled new kernel (2.4.17). In the new kernel, I have enabled the Frame
Buffer support. X server runs fine. When I boot from my hard disk, it boots okay
and I have no display problems. Now I want to create a boot disk
using MTBOOTDISK utility.
This does create the boot disk. When I boot from
this disk, it works but after some time, my screen keeps changing colors and I
can't see any thing on the screen. It looks like, it has something to do with
Frame Buffer.
Any Idea what should I do when booting from
disk.
Thanks
Sanjay
