Hi,
my problem with ATI Radeon VE is a bit different than the exposed but
essencially the same. The X server do not works.
Monitor: NEC CI A727
Video Card: ATI Radeon VE (QY) 32 Mb
When I run 'Xconfigurator' it detects the monitor with a range in
horizontal and vertical refresh and the correct video card. Even thus,
when it makes the proof, the X server do not works anyway. Does anyone
know if there is a way to solve the problem?
I have read about the possibility of adding drivers (radeon_dri.so,
radeon_drv.o, ati_drv.o) to different paths, but I don't know where to
obtain them and if I have to compile the source files for obtaining the
object files '.o'. Has anyone proved this?
