Dear all,

I have installed Redhat Linux 7.2 on a Sony VAIO FX390 laptop. During the
installation process, only the touch pad is recognized as a PS/2 mouse
device. Unfortunately, the USB optical mouse was not detected at all. So
after the installation process, I try to manually add the USB mouse
ocnfiguration in the /etc/X11/XF86Config configuraiton file according to the
information froma HOW-TO document. But this was not successful. What I
observed was when I plug in the mouse, it had power from the USB port and
when the USB mouse seem to be able to detect motion (from the growing red
light of the mouse).

Does anyone has a experience similar problem? If there is a solution to make
the USB mouse working, please kindly give me some much needed assistance.
Many Thanks.

Best regards,

Sunny
