A little more info - if I try and make -f Makefile.linux, I get an error make: *** [gamma_drv.o] Error 1   Before that it prints out the file /usr/include/linux/modversions.h . Does this mean to compile this DRM kernel I need the LINUX sources for it to compile against? I was going to update the kernel from 2.4.7-10 to 2.4.17 but that seemed REAL SCARY !!!
