when initiating this proc... the following error message is displayed along
with other message (non-error):
'Could not load the shared library file for 'Glide: 'libglide2x.so'
you need to have Glide installed to run the glide driver for XFree86
Also, you need to tell XFree86 where the 'libglide2x.so' file is
placed
by making a soft link in the /usr/X11R6/lib/modules' directory that
points
to the 'libglide2x.so' file. For example..etc..............

XFree86 then informed me to test the server as follows:
        XFree86 -xf86config /root/SF86Config.new

of course i tried this which resulted in window with X showing
in the center..then system
        hangs.... i then reboot..

after looking @ my /usr/lib/*glid* structure... there is a
'libglide3x.so' file present but NO 'libglide2x.so'
can anyone help me on this ?

i have a laptop toshiba satellite pro4600 .. dual boot setup..
redhat 7.2 video Trident CyberBladeXp
        with USB/mouse

thanks

Everett
