Hello, I'm a newbie with XFree. I use FreeBSD and XFree86 4.1.xxx and now the following question occured:
What do I have to do to allow other users on the same machine to display their X applications on "my" Xserver screen? At the moment, I do the following steps in the X terminal: - xhost + - su - 'otheruser' - setenv DISPLAY thismachine:0.0 (or: setenv DISPLAY localhost:0.0) - nedit& After some seconds, the terminal shows the error message "NEdit can't open display" What do I have to do to get this running???
