This sounds like the problem "Yu-Fong Cho" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
reported with Solaris a few days ago, which "Vaughn Given"

Looks like in the process of moving around through those
case-insensitive (i.e., lame) file systems the names got mangled.  Just
hope the NEWLINEs didn't get CARRIAGE-RETURNs inserted.
