AoA: Y don't u install Red Hat 7.2 with X version of 4.1.0. If u can get the Red Hat CD 7.2, it containg X version of 7.1.0. Almost the same problem was facing one of my friend & he got solved after installing x verion of 7.1.0. with Red Hat 7.2. Of course, the x verison of 4.1.0 will also detect your monitor as well Philips (104)E.
