Hello,all:

Here are my specifics:

4.5R FreeBSD
3.2 GB Fujitsu
ATI All-in-Wonder 128 Pro (AGP)

First, my research (and the help of others) has revealed that XFree86-
4.2.0 is the first version of X to support the aforementioned graphics
adapter. So, I've been removing the default XFree86-4 directory from
/usr/ports/x11, then unpacking the new tarball and installing from the new
XFree86-4 dir that is created. I have tried this 7 times now, with virtually
the same results. The make goes fine, but after 'make install', after
awhile I get a message that it cannot build .........../encodings.dir
(something to do with fonts). Are there any tricks to making this port
install "correctly"? Does X4.1.0 support the Rage 128 Pro chipset?
Any other insights?

Thanks in advance,

Jolok
