Hello;

I want to be sure that I understand this correctly before I try it.

>To install 4.2.0 from binaries, create a temp directory and fetch
>ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.2.0/binaries/FreeBSD-4.x.tar  into it
>and untar that, so it looks like the directory on the ftp server...

I tried visiting this link from Windows, and it just says "file not found".
Is this the correct syntax for the link, or am I supposed to extrapolate what
it really should point to. Will FreeBSD know what to do if I input the line as
is? I am a newbie, so assume I know nothing (not exactly true, but...) :)

Anyway, I understand your point to be that I should have all of the files for
the correct distribution of XFree86-4 in a temporary dir, then

sh ./Xinstall.sh

answer the questions, and off we go!
