Greetings,
I feel like I've entered a time warp and I am working
with edlin on an ancient PC!!!
I'm installing RH 7.2 on a 2nd partition to my Cpq
N160 laptop. I've had some help from another member
(Thanks John Horton!!!) and managed to FTP the
appropriate files from a mirror of the Xfree86.org
site.
I've followed the instructions to extract the various
components, but get a fatal error message:
XF86MapPciMem: could not map PCI memory
{base=0xD8000000,Hostbase=)xD8000000,size=0] invalid
argument
I use XF86config and input a value of 8192 for the
memory on the card.
Any suggestions?
