save Yr personnal files in an independent drictory first (so it will not be overwritten). It is, anyway, easy to upgrade Yr kernel without cancelling Yr former one. Just have You new kernel placed in /usr/src/linux-2.4.19, for example. Then copy Yr bzImage to /boot/vmlinuz_2419 and have a supplementary entry inYr LILO referring to that vmlinuz_2419. _______________________________________________ Newbie mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
