After waiting for what seemed a lifetime to see 3DLabs support for the GVX1
I finally installed mine, built X4.2.0 from sources I got on a cover CD and
got everything configured and running, but I've still go no hardware
acceleration.
I've got acceleration enabled in the XF86Config file, and even searched the
Web dillegently for any more info. The closest I got was:
Either DRI, which was originally built on the 3DLabs GMX2000, but is no
longer supported or developed. or:
proprietory accelerated X server from xig.
Are these my only two options for getting true hardware acceleration on my
3DLabs card? Would I be better off putting the ATI RageIIc+ back in?
What are the chances of setting a 3DLabs Wildcat 5110 to work?
Just a few questions.
